Thanks very much! I am rather enjoying it and I do have a couple of questions. Are you a moderator or part of DA staff or something? I was wondering about the general etiquette of the place. I notice that most artists seem to send a little thank you note to anyone that adds one of their pieces to favourites. Is that expected? Is it "rude" not to?
In any case, I'm really enjoying it. It's bolstered my creativity in the same way as having classmates to "compete" with. Thanks again. "Sieze the night?"

No I’m not a moderator or part of DA staff just a die hard deviant user...or something like that^^ Well there are so many different people here and you are never expected to do anything except being polite. Some people will never reply or show gratitude when you praise them. But if you want to connect with people it’s a good idea to thank them if they show interest in your work. It’s entirely up to you! I always show gratitude to those who give me a :+fav:, comment or show some kind of intrest to my work.

Well I think you will fit right in^^ Oh and if you are refering to "Carpe noctum" Yes it means Sieze the night ^_^

Sweet. I appreciate the guidance. I have a feeling I'm just starting to scratch the surface here. By the way, I looked at your gallery. Nice work. There's a contest that might be right up your alley. Google on the Lord and Taylor rose contest. One of your dew-covered botanicals might suit them (assuming it's a rose of course :rose: ). I sent an entry, but to be honest, it was crap. lol
